Tom was the Project Architect for multi - facility project located on  55-acre park. The project approach called for preserving the property in much of its natural state while introducing improvements, including an extensive trail system, open fields, a pavilion that has a folding exterior wall by Nana Wall with public toilets and concessions, picnic shelters, a gazebo, a children’s playground, tennis and basketball courts, a warming shelter and a maintenance facility. An outdoor amphitheater which utilizes the natural terrain as a seating area was also built. Buildings and site were developed to minimize the impact to the environment utilizing green building practices including passive energy, natural materials, natural planting, bioswales and filtration basins.
